How do you think it would be like to play with the lightest gaming mouse in the world? This means that you can move around with your gun like a feather. Doesn't this sound great? Glorious came with an awesomely creative idea to create the lightest gaming mouse: by making holes in it.
This sounds a bit silly, but in professional words: they made a honeycomb design gaming mouse that’s now the lightest mouse ever in the world. I find that they’ve done a very smart job on this. And other brands have followed as well by creating gaming mouses with a honeycomb design. But there can only be one real king.
The lightest gaming mouse ever is now born: the Glorious Model O (or O minus)! As you can see there’s a honeycomb design on top, making it extremely lightweight. It also has an ergonomic design and no matter if you have small or big hands, this mouse could be a great and affordable option for you.
I always look for high value for money products. And this Glorious Model O gaming mouse definitely is one.
Let’s get you to know why!
Why Get Yourself The Lightest Gaming Mouse?
When you have a cramp in your hands, there's no way you will be able to perform at your best. With the lightest gaming mouse, you will minimize the chance of getting cramps. After all, it takes less effort to move your mouse around since there’s less weight. Ever experienced fatigue in your hands after long gaming sessions? The lightest gaming mouse can reduce this a lot.
A lightweight gaming mouse helps with everything you do on your PC. Whenever you’re trying to get fast headshots, editing a video, or doing some other tasks it is a pleasant experience to do this on a mouse that moves around like a feather. But most importantly for us gamers: lightweight gaming mouses improve your ability to do fast movements and you will get better pinpoint accuracy.
It is great to see that the gaming industry takes lightweight gaming mouses seriously nowadays. A lot of competitive eSports players decided to use these mouses as well, for the main reasons that they will be more accurate, and that the chance of experiencing fatigue or cramps will be minimized. Another plus is that a lightweight gaming mouse is more portable too! It is easier to put your mouse in a bag and take it with you to LAN events for example.

Glorious Model O Price
The price is always an important aspect when you consider buying something. I always focus on high-value-for-money products. The Glorious Model O (or O minus) handles a very affordable price for a gaming mouse and it gets you great quality in return. But how can a great-quality gaming mouse be so affordable?
Glorious decided to use a sensor that’s slightly dated. Hence why this gaming mouse is affordable for all the features and quality you get. It uses a sensor called the ‘pixart 3360', but there's nothing wrong with it. It functions great and if they had to use a recent sensor, the price wouldn't be as attractive as it is now. And you would have barely noticed any difference.
At this time of writing, the Glorious Model O goes for the price of $62.09, and the Glorious Model O- for $62.49 which is about the same. This means that there’s no difference in price. Only if you choose to make it glossy, it will cost you a few dollars more.

Before You Buy The Lightest Gaming Mouse...
Before you decide to get yourself the lightest gaming mouse in the world, you should know that you probably need some time to get used to your lightweight gaming mouse. If you use a heavier Razer or Logitech mouse, for instance, switching to the Glorious Model O or O- could feel extremely light.
But believe me, when you've used the Glorious mouse for a longer time and you switch back to your old mouse, you'll be like: wow, this is heavy! Did I used to play with this?!

Another thing besides that you might need to get used to it is the design that the lightest gaming mouse has. You will notice that when you look into lightweight gaming mouses that all the biggest brands have adopted the honeycomb design. For those for which design is important: maybe you don't like this design.
But in any case, this honeycomb design is right now the best and most creative solution that gaming brands have to shave off as much weight as possible. And only time will tell if there will be more solutions in the future to make gaming mouses even lighter than this…
Glorious Model O vs Model O-
Both Glorious Model O and Glorious Model O- mouses are great to use for shooters. Maybe you think that for shooters you’ll need a heavier mouse, but to be accurate it is recommended to use a low mouse sensitivity (DPI). This gives you the option for more precise shots but you’ll also need to move your mouse quite a lot over your mousepad.
Sidenote: Maybe you feel like you’re more accurate with a heavier mouse! Eventually, it is up to you what you like and this also comes down to personal preference.

But what’s the difference between the Glorious Model O and the Model O-? When should you buy which?
The Glorious Model O comes in 4 different variants. You have matte white, and matte black which are both 67g. Then you have the glossy black and glossy white which are both 68g. So if you choose glossy it will weigh 1g more. Maybe the gloss puts a little extra weight on the mouse, lol.
Then you can also choose to go for… 58g when you choose the Glorious Model O-. That is insanely light for a mouse, which makes it the lightest gaming mouse on the market. And the glossy variant weighs 1g more here as well (9g). So when you want the absolute lightest gaming mouse possible, the Model O- is a better choice! But, it is made for smaller hands too.
So when you don’t have small hands I recommend you going for the Glorious Model O because then it will feel more comfortable overall. If you do have small hands, you can benefit from this and get yourself an even lighter mouse. I like to see it that way.
Glorious Model O Pink
If only people knew they were getting one-shotted by a pink mouse... A funny idea, right? There’s also the Glorious Model O Pink. This is a limited edition and can make the mouse more special. No matter if you’re a man or a woman, boy or girl, the Glorious Model O Pink could look great to your gaming setup or it will look very funny.
The mouse is kind of the weapon that you hold. So even if all gaming gear on your desk isn't pink, it could be comical to have a pink mouse. It's the same as if you choose a pink gun in-game.
If your enemy sees it gets shot by a pink gun, he could even feel worse about the kill. Pink is associated with love and romance. Well, shooting someone, is not it. Or… you're doing it for the love of your team.

The Glorious Model O Pink also weighs 67g, or you can choose the Glorious Model O- Pink for 58g. That means that you should decide whether you want a lighter, smaller mouse or a slightly heavier, bigger mouse. I would choose depending on how big your hands are. Small hands? Get the O-. Bigger hands? Get the O.
Btw. The Glorious Model O Pink doesn’t have a glossy version.
Glorious Model O Cable
Wireless gaming mouses are widely adopted into the gaming world too. Years and years ago, you probably couldn't even think of a fast gaming mouse that's wireless. After all, using a cable would prevent any input lag or delay in your performance.
But as we speak today there's almost no difference between the response of using a wireless or wired mouse. Even professional competitive eSports players are using wireless gaming mouses, so this proves you wouldn't lack in performance.

But if you do decide to use a cable, the Glorious Model O (or O-) cable is extremely lightweight. Normally, you can feel there’s some slight weight added to your gaming mouse. With the Glorious Model O cable, there’s a high chance you won’t experience this at all. If I could blindfold you and ask you if you’re using this mouse with a cable: want to bet you think you don’t? You most likely will think it’s a wireless mouse.
Glorious Model O Grip Tape
When you like to have more grip on your lightest gaming mouse, you can get yourself the Glorious Model O grip tape. This grip tape is a full-body skin for your mouse, which could optimize your gameplay performance. It is easy to apply, sweat-resistant, and has a slick look which makes it look stylish. So when you’d like to turn your smooth mouse surface into a non-slip one, you can get yourself this tape.
Using a grip tape for your mouse would mainly be beneficial when you usually get sweaty hands. The grip tape prevents your mouse from slipping out of your hands during sweaty matches. When you have never noticed this problem before, you won’t necessarily need the grip tape. But, if more grip sounds nice to you, you can always try it out.
I think that the grip tape on the Glorious Model O is quite interesting to experience. Then you’ll get yourself both an extremely lightweight mouse with awesome grip.

Glorious Model O Drag Click
Are you wondering if you can perform a drag click with the Glorious Model O? Yes, you can! I figured that lots of people were interested in this. But what is drag clicking exactly? What this means is that you drag your finger across a mouse button to get more clicks. You actually ‘’trick’’ your mouse so it will register more clicks. So when you're interested in this, I can ensure you that you will be able to do this with the Glorious model O... It’s recommended to use the top part of your finger for drag clicking. When you want to go for a long drag click, you should use the lower half of your finger.
Glorious Model O DPI Levels
Within the Glorious software, you have a wide range of DPI levels to choose from for the lightest gaming mouse. You can change your DPI from 400 to 12000 so you must be able to find your favorite DPI. A cool aspect of the Glorious Model O is that you can see which DPI you're using depending on the color on the bottom of the mouse.
Within the software, you can select multiple things. Firstly, you can activate up to 6 DPI levels to switch from. You can also decide to only activate 2 DPI's so that you're using 800 and 1200 for example. Then enable the DPI the color that you like, and you’re ready to go!
You can also make your DPI XY independent. What do I mean by this? Then you can set your mouse to move faster horizontally instead of vertically, or vice versa. This could be helpful within certain tasks where you have to be precise horizontally and bridge more distance vertically.

Glorious Model O Wireless Software
For your Glorious Model O Wireless mouse, you'll need the original software from the website. Select which model you use and if it's wired or wireless and download the software. Glorious has also made software called Glorious CORE which is more advanced and designed to give you full control. You have features to customize your performance and your lighting. Experience it yourself on the lightest gaming mouse, it could be a nice addition to improve your gaming experience. This is more advanced software that's currently in beta.

Lastly I want to say to you that you deserve to sit in the right chair. Did you know that backpain, strain, or any posture-related hazards can happen by sitting in the wrong chair?
I recommend checking out my ultimate DX Racer guide. DX Racer is the first brand that made gaming chairs and they offer premium quality chairs that will last for years, instead of a regular chair that's worn out quickly. In order for it to support you for a longer period of time, the chair needs to have premium durability. You'll get to know it all in the article (like which material is best for you and so on).
